Society View of Women

Is it important how society views women? If you ask me, yes it is! If society holds women in high regard then the same high standard of respect and care should be assumed.

The everyday woman impacts this perception in her relationship with her mate, her professionalism with her boss and colleagues, and loyalty with family and friends. Although the everyday woman impacts, women in the spotlight almost always define this same perception.

The Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN) hosted PROJECT REALism over Labor Day weekend in NYC. The standing-room only event featured reality tv starts discussing the impact of reality TV on young women.

Now not only are runway models, actresses and singers impacting young women but reality stars turn celebrity seem to create a bigger impression.

The big picture is teaching, living and reinforcing admirable behavior and characteristics for women so the negative can be spread few and far in between.
